I really really really want to visit Winter Efteling this year!

Efteling! I have very strong memories from when we wne tthere when I was little :) Would love to go again :)

Nee he? Ik las dat een paar dingen ook dicht waren als het vriest XD Maar ik wil er eigenlijk meer heen voor de sfeer en de lichtjes en dingen zien, dus ik vind het niet zo heel erg :)

I went to the efteling this summer for the first time (on the hottest day of the year... ) winterefteling iet er ook heel mooi uit :O

Welnee, in de zomer en in de herfst en in de lente is het er echt een miljoen keer fijner dan in die stomme Winter Efteling.

En ik kan het weten, want ik ga dertig keer per jaar. :)

Nou, punt is - ik heb mijn Efteling liever puur en zonder opsmuk. In de winter smijten ze er altijd zo'n reusachtige berg nepsneeuw en tijdelijke decoratie tegenaan dat ik het gevoel heb dat mijn Efteling verstopt zit onder een laagje neppe Duitse kerstmarkt.
Maar goed, heel veel mensen vinden het juist super, dus het zal wel een persoonlijk dingesje zijn :)

Tipje: ga helemaal aan het einde van de dag, tegen sluitingstijd naar het Meisje met de Zwavelstokjes in het Sprookjesbos. Veel indrukwekkender als je moe en koud bent na een dag Efteling, en ook veel indrukwekkender als het stil en rustig is, in plaats van dat je het sprookje moet bekijken tussen twintig wandelwagens en blèrende pubers in. :)
De moeite waard, echt!

Zal ik onthouden, dankje! Ik denk dat ik sowieso op een donderdag wil gaan ofzo, dan heb je toch wat minder blerende pubers enzo (hoop ik :)) En tja, ik hou wel van een beetje kitsch, dus de nepsneeuw en decoraties vind ik waarschijnlijk niet zo erg :D

Ik heb op mijn friendslist iemand die helemaal idolaat is van eurodisney. Als ik de foto's dan zie van de kerst en halloween decoraties daar. Dan ziet alles er zo, zo, nep en plastic uit. Netzoals de bouwwerken en bestrating. Die klinkers liggen zo perfect dat het wel nep moet zijn. Doen ze in Kaatsheuvel toch beter al zijn ze daar tegenwoordig helaas ook te betrappen op fiberglass en plastic.

De efteling bezoek je het best in de herfst. Als de bomen rood zijn, maar nog wel blad hebben. Ik heb het bewijs op mijn lj. ;)

Nou ja, even afgezien van suffe Halloweendecoratie - ik vind dat Disneyland Parijs echt prachtig ontworpen is. Het is mijn smaak niet helemaal, maar het is zó perfect gethematiseerd dat ik niet anders kan dan er altijd erg van onder de indruk te zijn als ik er ben. Zóveel geniale details, zóveel vlekkeloze perfectie..
Ik ga over mijn nek als ik er langer dan twee dagen ben, maar tof is het wel. :)

Random girl who got here from the Vie Quant...(can't spell) livejournal.

Really pretty things /envy!

But yarr, it's a lovely place but was so crowded after christmas - the carparks were all full so they were parking on the edge of roads - and I'm sure you know but it was sooo cold, there was a peacock by the fire warming up. So go, enjoy, but take layers so when you're in the queues it isnt so bad :)

That's some good advice, thanks! I hope to go on a tuesday or so so it won't be too crowded (since most kids will be in school?) And I will make sure to take tons of clothes and a fur hat or so, being cold is the worst :( Thank you! :)
