The weather was really strange today, with lots of fog. It makes you wish for mulled wine.

Vanochtend was alles wit, het gras, de lucht... later bleef voornamelijk de lucht wit en ik ben hard aan het werk aan mijn nieuwe winterjas (gisteren begonnen) want daar is het nu toch echt tijd voor! Ik heb wel een korte herfst/winter jas maar ik wil ook eentje op knielengte.

Ik pas een victoriaans model iets aan, de 1880's wintercoat van Truly Victorian, zonder darts valt hij half-fitted, ik kan ze ook zelf tekenen met antiek patroon teken systeem maar dan ben ik haast wel verplicht altijd een korset aan te trekken ;) Ik heb een leuke catalogus voor wintermantels uit 1886-1887 en daar haal ik dan ook de decoratieve ideetjes uit!

:P Ik ben nog wel even zoet, de basis jas hoop ik snel af te hebben, maar de laatste decoratieve touches zullen iets langer duren tot ik vind wat ik zoek.

Aw gelukkig dat je toch nog wat foto's hebt kunnen maken :) Die mist bleef ook zo bizar lang hangen :o

The first photos totally remind me of the film adaptation of Sleepy Hallow! I really wish it would get a little bit more wintery here, I am excited for it, but it still feels decidedly fall like.

Sweet chestnut puree sounds delicious.

It was a little Sleepy Hollow! Noone was beheaded though. Yes, sweet chestnut puree is the best, but it's only available in France I think ;_;
